Can anyone identify this plant please?

i admired a plant in my friends garden last year - she gave me some seed and to my delight I now have several young plants.  I cannot remember what the name of the plant is, and my friend did not know. I know it had flowers if that helps!

    I grew angelica once.. It was a monster and i had to pull it out. Quite some work that was.

    Mine's in it's second year. I'm hoping for GREAT things at the back of the border this year!

    The cafe I worked at once, between career jobs, used to have it grown by the office building landscapers as ground cover outside the building.. the chef used to send us out to cut leaves as garnish!
