All my beds are made from sleepers as there was nothing but concrete in the garden when we moved here . We used old treated ones. They don’t seem to have effected our plants but on really sunny hot days they can ooze a little tar on top. I laid them flat as I needed to be able to sit on them when tending the beds due to disability . ‘Here’s a couple of them today.
