Episode 1 Plant ID help

Could someone please help me identify the yellow flowers that Monty had near the siberian irises in Episode 1 pictured below?

We have a patch of them  in our garden.

    If it is very low growing, it should be Eranthis, but I haven't seen the show!

    If you want to recreate the combo, then get Iris reticulata (probably 'Harmony'), NOT Siberian irises which flower later, grow much taller and like moist soil!
