Hi all,
I'm in dire need of some help. My post winter lawn is normally turning a lush green this time of year but instead I'm left with this.  The lawn was very healthy last summer and I fertilized on schedule.  The lawn was buried in snow all winter.  I have a few more pictures I can post if needed...This is my entire front lawn.  Neighbors lawns are green.

It looks as though it has been killed by the snow. I would give it a first cut and I'm sure most of the dead stuff will be cut away. You will then be able to see whats underneath. A spring feed and a little bit TLC may go a long way!

  • Would you recommend aeration, dethatchibg, or power rake?

No, just a cut in the first instance and then see what it looks like. Followed by a spring feed once the weather warms up a bit.
