New RHS garden planned for the North-West

    I can’t wait for it to open! Its very close to where I live,  less than an hour away.

    I'm looking forward to it too. I can get to Harlow Carr, but it means braving the M62 and if I spend the day there, probably hitting rush hour on the way home. The other RHS gardens are inaccessible for me.
    Whereas Bridgewater will be a tram ride from my daughter's flat in M1 and she loves garden visiting too, so we can have a day out together. Much less stressful :)

    It will look good when it's done. My brother used to live nearby and if it's where I think it is, we once walked through the woods there - lovely spot.

    I've been watching progress on this from when they first acquired the old Worsley estate.  It will be called Bridgewater after the nearby canal and it seems the last planning hurdle has been completed.   Loads of info if you google RHS+Bridgewater.

    Looking forward to it, it probably about 30mins ride from my house, it been on about it now and again on BBC NWest news, I am sure they were setting some little piggys loose last time.
