Hi, could anyone tell me what the plant behind the Crocosmia is? Is it  some sort of Veronica or Salvia?
Thanks, Graeme.

It’s a bit small but I would say it’s some kind of Veronica or Agastache.

Thanks Lyn, it would help if there was a bit of foliage in the pic, but the emphasis is on the Crocosmia.

It would help if the picture was bigger and more defined, I grow several different Agastache and Veronica but difficult to really tell yours. Is that your photo or a google image?

Sorry about the size of the photo, I copied it from a French Nurseries web page (I would have asked them what the plant is in the background is,
but due to very limited English and French :'(
I really should know what it is as I had exactly the same one many years ago in another garden.
Having the same variety of Crocosmia, I thought that the other plant realy set them off nicely and would have liked to obtained the same plant.
I am convinced its a variety of Salvia and have tried to find one similar. I did consider the "Caradonna" but have settled for the NEMEROSA (OSTFRIESLAND) https://www.brittanyperennials.uk/perennials-for-a-good-garden-soil/1656-salvia-nemorosa-ostfriesland-.html
Thanks for pointing me towards Agastache's Lyn, I will be considering planting one of these in the near future http://https//www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/agastache-violet-vision-pbr/classid.2000023495/

    Thanks all for replying,
    Graeme.
