All of my pears and cherries are in full bloom following the warm spell but I'm expecting very poor crops due to the present cold, wet & windy weather.  I do some hand-pollinating whenever the blossom is dry but am not very hopeful that will be enough this year.
Apple blossom about to burst but the trees seem to be holding back, luckily.  Plums have all blossomed already but fruit set looking very poor.

A tangential question, but if you grow a climber through a small fruit tree, could it affect pollination levels?

I doubt it Fire (might even help to attract pollinators if it flowers) but choose carefully as some climbers will produce a lot of foliage and may effectively put the fruit tree in shade.
