Fir trees browning

I have two small fir trees that are showing signs of browning as per photo. Anyone got any suggestions as to how to solve the problem.?? I think they have been quite well watered over the winter/spring due to the amount of rain we have had. Advice appreciated.thanks in advance

    Not sure. They in the back garden . I have seen a cat passing through occassionally. Could it be this??

    I think that looks as if it's been too dry at some stage ... plants against a fence or wall, whether in the ground or in containers, can be in what is called a 'rain shadow' which is actually an area which gets little rain because of the height of the wall fence and the predominant  direction of the rainfall.

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Is it recoverable with some watering then???

    Afraid not.
    Brown conifer leaves are dead and there will not be any regrowth.
