Please can you identify this tree/shrub. Many thanks.

It's quite tall -- 15-20 ft high and evergreen. It has small berry-like growths that have been there since late last year. They've now turned pink. And there are buds as shown in the image. Azalea?

    I have one of these too and often wondered what it was! It’s evergeen with quite sturdy leaves. The nearest I could find was Euonymus Europeaus, or spindle tree as that has pink berries that split to reveal orange, but not really sure. The berries have a distinctive quartered form, like four seeds bursting out. If it is that, the berries are poisonous.

    Yes, mine has pink berries that split to reveal orange. Thanks for the reply. I'll look up your suggestion.

    almost. Euonymus europaeus is deciduous and rather different in leaf. Probably Euonymus japonicus
