Identify a shrub (I think)

Can anyone tell me what this is called? I think it’s a shrub but correct me if I’m wrong!

    It looks like a prunus. There are many, but Prunus  incisa kojo no mai is very similar, in flower at the moment, but slow growing.

    I agree Prunus incisa Kojo no Mai.
    It is slow growing but does get a fair size.
    The sparrows loved it and every year striped the buds/blossom.
    In the autumn it goes a glorious red.

    Thank you! I think that’s what it is. I hope it does grow to be big! The tree behind it needs to come down I think so that would be lovely 😊

    How nice when it goes red! I didn’t notice it last year but I’ll keep an eye on it this year, thank you 😊
