Hurray! Liner arrived today. Turns out the measurement calculator was generous with its sizing, probably because of the shallow end, so dug an extra 4ft at one end and 4ft on the side of the other end as a last minute addition. Figured I’d only end up wishing I had if I hadn’t. The rest can be used for a bog garden.

Been filling it for 2 hours already, think I may be here some time...

My 21 foot diameter pond (about 3' 6'' deep in the middle) took 8 hours to fill!

We've decided we're going to make ours bigger this autumn  :)

:D  :D  :D  I had the opposite problem every time mine overflowed. I could put in my submersible pump and leave it going for a couple of hours @ 115l/min and "nothing" happened!!!  :D

our 0.8 acre "lake" is clay lined ( we inherited it ) and it took 11 days to fill up via land drains.
5m deep at the deepest .

I’m already wondering if I should have gone bigger, it must be a pond thing

You could have pumped it into Hostafan’s, two birds with one stone!

Does anyone one have any sort of overflow system, or just a ‘low point’ where the water drains out into the soil?
