    The bog standard one is a bit untidy, but some  other varieties are better - I have a two-tone blue one and a small white one that are both fairly tidy.

    I'll have to find the label of the ones I planted, they are earlier, smaller with baby blue flowers and leaves much like those of Tete a Tete daffs. They seem much better behaved!

    Ding, light bulb moment. Muscari azureum, much less foliage too.

    thanks pal, i will look at these for next year, as for this year from what i have been told i will be spending the rest of it getting rid of these things..!!

    Saw these this afternoon.Love the colour combination with Euphorbia myrsinites.
    Instead of growing grape hyacinths on their own I think they look better when growing through other plants.
