    Back in the day ;)   all courgettes and marrows were trailers, like squashes and pumpkins ... the bush types were developed and became popular because of smaller modern gardens.  ... but I always think the trailers do best, if you have the room for them :)

    I didn't know trailing varieties existed either.  I don't think I've ever seen the seeds for sale,.. at the usual locations that is.  I shall go off now and see if I can get some.. I haven't bought my seeds for the year yet.   :)

    Thanks Dove, I'll have a look for the Black Forest variety.  I am making a half circle arbor from my boy's 15ft trampoline frame this summer, to grow cucumbers and squash over.. and to make a secret garden hideaway for the boys.  The courgette will be a great addition to the mix.
