Delphiniums

The delphiniums that I have cared for over winter, in a cold greenhouse, have a very lush new growth, so much that the are becoming to tall for their space in the greenhouse. Is it to early to stand them out in the garden?

Start  to harden them off. Stand them outside during the day, but back under cover at night for a couple of weeks.

Yep, and watch out for molluscs - young delph shoots are 'manna from heaven' for them.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Definitely, I grow mine in deep pots as a result of the slugs and snails. Lupins too.
