too late to add/dig in manure?

Please help! I have not added/dug in manure last autumn/winter as I still have kale and early sprouting broccoli growing in my vegetable patch. I am hoping to grow some french beans, courgettes and sweetcorn next. (I will start growing them indoors|)Can I add the manure once kale/broccoli have finished? Or best just to stick to adding a general fertiliser before planting out the young plants?

If it is well rotted then yes you can. To be honest if you had put it on in autumn last year with the weather we have had most of the goodness would have been leached out anyway.

I haven't manured our veg patch yet 'cos life never goes according to my plans  ... as AB says, as long as it's well rotted it'll be absolutely fine
