I am after some rexommenrecomme for an indoor plant. I need one which doesn't grow too much in terms of width. Planned spot is NOT Near any window to get lot of natural light.
I find that Sansevieria doesn't do well away from light. I'd go for aspidistra in the conditions described by the OP, or Maranta kerchoveana ... although neither are as upright as a Sanseveria.
