My recommendation would be to plan your garden around a new greenhouse. A great investment.

Nice sized blank canvas you've got there Holly 👍.
What size is the greenhouse? And have you had one before?
Not just being nosey, but wondering if you need any tips to help you out, and keep it grounded 😉.

    Thanks :-)
atm I have it in the corner so it’s not in sun but it’s held against wall. It has 2 hooks on back so I could get some string to hook it against wall.
id love a small hexagonal wooden Victorian style greenhouse but doubt husband would like that ha hs

Great stuff Holly. Strapping it to a wall or fence would have been one of my suggestions. Putting a couple of bricks on the bottom shelf can also help stop it tipping over in the wind.
They're not nicknamed "blowaways" for nothing
    😉

I started off with the 4 tier one and have worked my way up to a 6x4 that's currently in use.
Still dreaming of getting a proper greenhouse one day.

My advice is to treat this year as a learning curve. Enjoy sowing everything and try different fruit and veg while you sort out how you want to lay out your garden.

some things to think about are having four beds for rotation crops, a compost area, greenhouse, flower area. I am sure there is more but put pen to paper to plan it first.

with regards to a greenhouse look on gumtree or local Facebook pages as people will give away older greenhouses or sell up to £50 if you are prepared to dismantle them.

most if all just enjoy yourself pottering in the garden especially during the balmy summer we will have. by the way everyone makes mistakes so don't worry if something goes wrong

The first thing is to set up as many water buts as you possibly can. Put one on every down pipe you have. Rain water is so much better for plants.
