Unhappy hydrangea ster

Easter greetings, I bought a hydrangea a few weeks ago and have kept it in the conservatory until its warm enough to plant out.It was fine but has wilted ! It was in a small pot and the roots were popping out so I have reported it and moved to a kitchen window .Is there anything else i can do to perk it up ? Should I remove any of the wilted flower heads or leaves ?

    I would immerse the plant pot, compost and all, into a bucket of water and leave it here for an hour then take it out and allow it to drain.  It sounds to me as if it's very thirsty.  
    Hydrangeas need a lot of water.

    Thanks Dove I was watering it every day but have been on hols so gave it a good water before i left and soaked some kitchen towel and left it in bottom of the pot the towel was still damp but obviously it was thirsty .

    The 'droop' can be spectacularly quick with hydrangeas.  I have one in our front garden which I may end up shifting.  It gets more sun than the others, and still droops on occasion despite being planted about 3 years ago.  A good soaking perks it up again but I have to keep a constant eye on it.
