I am blessed with lots of self-born seedlings: pansies, tithonia, cosmos, zinnias, China asters, torenias, cataranthi, echia, Black-eyed Susans, rudbeckias, alyssums, tagetes, nasturtiums, even a small rose. The tree border in the picture is made up solely of these by-blows, so no one cries when people pluck blooms off (BTW, the ugly edging is DIY, be forgiving, I did it to protect the plants from being flooded away by rain ).
I tend to go for perennials in the ground, and Pelargoniums, bacopa, lobelia, fuchsia, skylover for hanging baskets and urns. I will probably need some cornflowers, cosmos, larkspur etc,to fill in,as its a new garden and needs lots spending on it,but hopefully now got the basics!

Damp garden man...... I've been told by hubby today to stop sowing and buying!! He says I'm putting the cart before the horse! As it's my first UK garden for nearly 14 years, with nothing there when we moved in,I'm finding it hard to reign it in!😁😁😁🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
