Lemon Grass - Advice Please

Just received a Lemon Grass . Does it spread like bamboo if I plant it in the garden
Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

    It's tender (doesn't do frost). It doesn't spread by putting out runners.

    It rots in dampness, keep it in a well-drained pot and when it disappears in autumn put it in a sheltered place.

    Mine's doing well on the kitchen windowsill - grew some bits from supermarket stir fry packs :)

    I am keeping it inside in the conservatory which will get really hot when Summer starts !!

    Just going for a 5 mile walk before the snow comes. Cabin Fever...aarrrggghhh.
