Too late to move a cherry tree?

i was holding off until the ground warmed up to move some dwarf cherry trees but I notice leaf buds are forming - is it too late to move them?

If you have the sit ready, I would move it quick and give a good drink, as you an still plant fruit trees now

and be a bit more careful with the roots at this stage, ensure you put in root builder or michorrizal and don't let the soil dry out (not that this is going to happen anytime soon with the current dismal weather!

And, a tree surgeon told me recently, "don't prune until June". Apparently they can get Silver Leaf rather readily if you make any holes in them now.
