Thunbergia (black eyed Susan ) in a hanging basket.

I’m growing Thunbergia Superstar Orange and Susie mix from seed. I haven’t grown these before but would like to plant them in my hanging baskets which are 16 inches across and 8 inches deep. The photos I’ve seen on Pinterest and Google look stunning and the baskets look very full and lush. Would just one plant in each basket achieve a similar result or will I need to plant more? Any advice would be welcome.

This is is the kind of look I’m hoping to achieve.

They will need an awful lot of water

I see them cascading window boxes nr me. They are stunning from trailing from an upstairs windowsill. Large boxes might be easier and more retaining than baskets
