    @bighevs'Imself has been out in the garage/sheds/manshacks hunting down his silage knife! Now look what you've started!  :D

    Haha! Bless! I’ve had a search online and it is indeed a silage knife. 😊 No idea how it got here. I’m going to keep it and put it on display somewhere in my garden. It’s the best thing (most interesting) Ive found since moving in and clearing my garden over the last few years. Better than the buried tubs of cooking fat and pieces of broken pottery!! Big thanks to you and your family. 😊

    @bighevs 'Imself reckons your's is much older than his because of the way it's made. Your's looks all of a piece whereas this one is riveted. I love finding old bits of stuff...'Imself included!!!  ;)
