Help transforming garden

hi, has anyone heard of offering your garden to the local college/apprentice to use as a project for their learning? I’ve posted previously about our garden, its overgrown but not with waste just shrubs/ivy/plants i cant describe. We havent got the budget to hire someone to help but thought it would be a really good project for someone learning horticulture. Id be happy to pay towards materials etc but Id love some help and ideas etc.

    I don't know anyone who's done it but it sounds a good idea. Have you approached a college yet?

    Ah good I’m not being ridiculous in the thought haha! I did email one last year but never had a reply... our garden sold the house, its not pristine by any standards but its very charming and has alot going for it (I remember pointing out it was big enough to have a ‘white garden’). I tried to clear the first 3rd last year and it was just too much for me alone so could do with some help, my husband isnt as garden mad as i am unfortunately so his input isnt great, i’d love someone with an equal passion to help get the garden to its full potential. Would have thought as part of the course you would need a project or to build a portfolio, like the idea of giving someone that opportunity with my garden, and knowing someone with equal passion and vision had made it.
