My olive tree needs repotting, I think.  What medium should I use, please?

Now there a thought, I would think mine needs repotting too.. Mine is A millenium tree from the Bayof Olives..  It was reotted a few years later. I think I used a sandy loam with grit for drainahe.. But I was just trying to mimic the soil conditions in Greece..It doesproduce olives, but I have never done anything with them.. It survuves out winters outside in a sheltered spot..  I will pop back in case some one has abetter idea.. :)

I would use the same as I use for my bay tree ... a mix of three parts JI No 3 loambased and one part horticultural grit.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

OK, thanks very much.  I'll try that.  I did get flowers and some tiny, tiny buds last year but nothing came of it.  Not that we like to eat olives - despite having lived in Greece for 3 years - but I do like my little tree amongst all my other patio pots!
