You'll eventually need some horizontal wires along your wall.  (Harry Baker will explain!)  You can tie your bamboo cane triangle to the wires until the branches outgrow it; the important thing to check is those plastic ties fastening the little branches to the canes.  The branches will swell once the leaves come out in spring - make sure you remove the ties before they start to restrict the flow of sap in the branches.  In fact, I'd probably replace them all now, with biodegradable string - you'll need to keep replacing the string every year because it will rot, but better that than having ties cut into the bark.
Your tree is trained as a fan, not an espalier.  That's unusual for an apple - it'll look very pretty, though, if you can maintain it.  The most problematic thing is the "leader", the vertical shoot.  You'll need to shorten that every year so the tree puts more energy into its side shoots, where the fruit will form.
I grew James Grieve in my last garden, and it was lovely.  If you leave the fruit until it's yellow, you can eat it as an "eater" as well as cooking it.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Thanks so much.

im about to purchase these from a lovely, garden centre near me. Beautiful restaurant,(read that as bleeding expensive) lol . Anyway, I’ve picked up the items in the pic, I can’t find anything else that looks appropriate right now.
