ID the grass!

We've recently moved into a new house. We're trying to work out what kind of grass we have as there are some patches we'd like to reseed (hopefully with the same type of grass...).

I've attached two photos - is anyone able to identify? is there any more information I could provide that would help?

    It'll be nigh on impossible to ID the grass exactly ... but when you reseed the patches, get a bit more seed than you need and scatter some all over the lawn ... you'll find that within a season it'll all blend in ...... I did that on my lawn where we had two builder's skips for a couple of months one summer ... very soon you couldn't see where they'd been.  :)

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
