  VV. If you go to Settings, then Edit Profile, you can tick the box that says 'hide signatures always'. That will do the trick. 
  I feel the signatures gives us a bit of personal quirkiness. I like them!

  Thanks everyone.  I have altered my settings.  I know signatures are and always have been on other forums but had never seen them on this forum.  Sorted now.
