Orchid Help - Should I Prune?

Hi All,

I have a double stem Orchid, however one of them stems has dropped its flowers and seems to be dieing back to a node... I suspect it’s because the other stem has sprouted a new flowering & is using all the energy. What can I do to save the stem that dieing back, should I prune it? Is this normal?
Thank you x

This is perfectly normal behaviour once the flowers on a stem are over.  Cut it back to a node on the green part of the stem.
