  • Yes. we do use it all Firefly. All our beds (apart from veg patch and annual wild seed bed) have wood chip.  With such a big garden and  flower beds too we find it invaluable for keeping the weeds down. The chip also deters slugs from attacking the plants. Storing the chipper was a problem but our son-in-law has let us store it in his shed which conveniently is at the bottom of our garden!

  • well i havn't purchased the bulk online but mulching is really a good thing to enhance the productivity on soil.
  • It sure is musmanali - the wood chip does break down in time, the worms take it into the soil which enhances the texture of the soil - a win win situation.
