What to put round my gifted arbour
in Plants
I have been given this arbour. I’m thinking of putting it at the end of the garden under an atlas cedar tree (with very high lower branches so lots of room and light). Because of the soil conditions under the tree I was thinking I’d have to put and climbing plants in containers (also I’m re doing the whole garden so this would give me the option to move it all entirely). I’m thinking of planting something like a summer jasmine or a white/purple clematis. Any advice please -something that would be happy with just the arbor to grow over and to be in a container. Should I put a plant either side for evenness? Should I use two different plants for a longer season of colour. Show me your arbors!
