Liatris Spicata

I have just received some bulbs in the post, among them are approx. 10 of these are Liatris Spicata, advertised as attractive to bees.  I say bulbs - they could be corms, but I thought Liatris were perennial plants, not bulbs or corms - am I right/wrong or is the labelling incorrect?

They are perennial GD, but grow from corms.  I have a few clumps and they are good do-ers .....and the bees do love them 🐝

    Wonderful 😀
  • I've put some of these corms in at the base of the clematis to keep the bottoms shaded ( ha ha) also they are great for the bees.🐝🐞
