Flower Patch

So I have been offered a new site to grow the Fuchsia Blooms Florist flowers. I was expecting a field but that's proving  hard top find unless I want to buy 10 acres of land !!!  I have found a "site", its on a slope with trees  and I am not sure it will actually get enough light so need to go back and check it out on a sunny day I think. Otherwise gardenening on a slope??? I am really not sure?? At least I would be taking all of the compost and manure down the slope and not up as the access is fromthe top. So the question is should I go for it, and how  much is it worth? The farm currently have lots of horses who pay £20-25 per week for shared use of the farm and stables. Mine would be sole use but the land can not really be used for anything else so shoudl I offer same as horses, more or less?

Can you take photos? a gentle south slope is good, a steep north facing is bad.  I would cost it similar to an allotment in the area.  An Allotment might be easier  than starting with bare field.
  • I already have an allotment site but I have run out of room!!! This site realistically is only about 4 times my allotment site and will only be big enough for 1 or 2 years and then I will probably have to move again.  Could not take photos this morning as it was snowing when I visited and I actually nearly froze to death out there. Think I will go back next month to check out the leaves on the trees!

If it is four times the allotment site, I would value it at 4 times the rent of your allotment site, assuming it has the same facilities, water, security etc.
