Rudbeckia 'Cherry Brandy' isn't even remotely yellow

They are lovely too, I had to admire all my Cherry Brandy plants growing in friends gardens last year as I accidentally gave them away instead of the yellow ones I was growing, the rain washed the names on the labels away! Won’t make that mistake again.😂

Thanks to you all for all your help, really appreciated. Yes, Cherry Brandy is very pretty, but only yellow varieties available here. I am sure a Rudbeckia of some sort will make it in there at some point (I am growing the annual orange/brown Autumn Colours from seed as an experiment, having never grown flower seeds before).  I am majoring on orange perennials at the moment because I already have lots of red roses and red shrubby salvias in there. I also have Salvia carradona and Agastache Black Adder potted on and ready to join the hotties, but now pursuaded to get a few MBeauties as well as Waltraut, as they do look so lovely with your Black Adder, Perki. I hope you’re BA make it.

Achillea (Safran or Terracotta) has been on and off my list and will probably be back on again next year if the Heleniums fail. I am trying to be a bit cautious of packing in too many different things in just now until I see what stuff looks and performs like in my garden and my confidence grows a bit, but it’s hard, so many gorgeous plants to choose from, but not necessarily available to me in Catalunya! Hopefully by the end of the summer I can post pics of my lovely flourishing hot border, fingers crossed xx
