    Been trying to change my user name...but, can't find a working method in all 14 pages!

    What's wrong with the one you've got? Seems fine to me.

    You sometimes have to sign out and sign back in again after any changes, so that they work. Don't know why.  :/
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    I seem to have a few problems with the site having 'quoted' another post.
    Can only type in the greyed area.
    Time to move on I think. :(

    Seems to be ok as far as I can see @melando?  What are you finding difficult?  Let's see if some of us regulars can help ...  :)

    In my last post I 'quoted' a post but could only type in the grey area...never seen that before...very odd! However it now seems to work OK!
    I simply want to change my user name as when registering...the wrong name has appeared. Probably my error but it has to change.
    I'm well experienced in computers for my long years so a little surprised that two basic actions seem to have had me stumped.

    There are numerous unresolved glitches in the site. You get used to them😒

    I'm well experienced in computers for my long years so a little surprised that two basic actions seem to have had me stumped. 
    Sometimes, particularly if editing a Quote, your Cursor can refuse to move out of the quote box.  I find that if I wish to quote, clicking on Quote, typing my post below it, and then editing the quote before posting, avoids that issue.

    As for changing your board name, I've not had to do this, but I believe it's been found that you need to sign out of the forum and enter the site via the Gardeners'World.com logo at the top left of the page, then go into your account and settings etc to alter your name.  Then sign out.  Then, when you next sign in to the forum your name should have changed.  If not give us another shout and we'll flag it up to the mods ... however they're busy folk and not always around so getting their attention can sometimes take a while.
