It’s as well I didn’t use our business as a user name!

Opening with a new name won’t get the company any advertising though will it.

He posted a query asking how fungi could benefit plant growth … why didn’t he read his own marketing blurb?  His company produces and sells mycorrhizal fungal powders and liquids.  Either he’s very confused … or he’s spamming. QED. 🙄

Just thinking - if you try signing in as a 'new' member, with a very slight change in your name @garrythegardener [maybe a full stop between each name or similar] that might be enough to give you a new profile and solve the problem.  :)

What's wrong with the name garrythegardener anyway? Sounds OK to me.

I agree @B3. For some reason people are flagging him though.
However - I've just changed my username - just a capital on the word 'girl. No problem.
No excuses for people saying it won't work IMO.

You have to go to the original page on this thread,  and follow the instructions. You start by clicking the Gardener's World.com icon in the top left corner.
You can't do it from your own settings.  :)

Garry is doing fine. Spam is pretty obvious when it's posted. Has Garry added any spam?

I don’t think anyone flagging him now he’s called Garry…&c …, isn’t it just that those posts had already been flagged when they were posted under his earlier name of Biothingummybobmarketing&c ?

I don't think he was flagged for posting any spam.

Ah - I thought it [garry] was someone else entirely @Dovefromabove .  We used to have some called something similar a while ago on the forum.
I didn't realise it was Bio thingummy   :)
