snowball onions

Has anyone grown these, I understand they are quite difficult to store, Hubby says the onions I normally grow are too "hot" for him, Best place to buy?  I had a lovelly rhubarb crown, just about to cover it for forcing, its dissapreaed lock,stock and barrel!

    I grew them last year. Seem to have stored ok. Not very big though. Overall not impressed.
