Box hedge

What's the most wildlife friendly box hedge I could plant

    Box is box, or to be botanically correct, buxus.   Do you mean something else?

    Be aware that box is increasingly vulnerable to virus attack, now spreading right across the UK.   In some gardens it has ravaged hedges to the extent of them having to be pulled up and destroyed.   

    Good, small leaved alternatives are lonicera nitida and ilex crenata.   If you want a taller hedge there's plenty of choice for wildlife friendly plants.
