It looks a bit like a poorly Tradescantia zebrina, but they're a houseplant and need warmer temperatures than we've been getting outside this winter .......

Lovely! At least that was going to be more likely to survive the snow than a tradescantia LOL. Mine haven't appeared yet ... I have to say it didn't look much like one earlier on

Doesn't look like my pulmonarias which all have larger, spotted or silvered leaves and narrower flower tubes. Mine don't get eaten by slugs either and I had white, pink, blue, salmon coloured varieties in the Belgian garden for years.
