    Thanks for replying - I now get the picture. I would recommend Euronymus fortunei "Emerald Gaiety" for that situation, evergreen green/cream leaves which would go very well with the red brick wall. It will also slowly grow/lean on the wall as it grows and doesn't need tying in so no screws needed! Tough as old boots and won't need clipping.
