Thanks all for your advice, I think I need to get a few more pots in this case  :)

Ok, so I need your help again.... I planted my agapanthus in pots in early March and put them somewhere light but frost free. They had already started sprouting in the bags they came in and looked a bit anemic but that would've been from not getting any light in their bags.

I have now put them outside in a sunny position and they have been there for about three weeks. They look like the attached image, still a bit yellow, haven't grown much and I'm not sure what has happened to them? They look like they are a bit greener towards the bottom so fingers crossed there is hope. Is there?

They look fine. They will be putting their energy into growing roots first, so the tops may stand still for a while.
Some of mine, all established plants, have barely put their noses above ground yet, even in the greenhouse, there is plenty of time still. I grew some of mine from seed and they got to flowering size in 3 years. They grow fast once they get started.
