    Most people lawns are looking pretty sorry at this time of year, I know its hard but try to be a bit patient get it into active growth mow it lightly a few times & then decide. A spring feed will probably be required. Best if you can use a slow release fertiliser, treat any weeds separately.

    I agree with AB ... and keep your mower blade on a High setting for the first few cuts, and never drop the blade lower than Medium.

    Many thanks.  Its now time to look at my packets of seeds so Spring must be on its way.
