    If you read the  posts on the appropriate thread [How to change your username] - you'll see the simple solution if you don't want to follow the advice. 
     ie - re join with a more appropriate name  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    There's an easy fix as I described above @floralies. I think it was @Lyn who suggested it.
    Whether this person chooses to follow it is another matter  :)

    I should clarify that I wasn't responding to @garrythegardener, but the 'other' one. Garry's post wasn't there when I posted, and I don't think anyone sensible would flag his posts, although I see some people have done that. It's not quite the same situation as the poster in question  IMO    :)

    Ah - it was you then @pansyface, re the new account/name. Apologies - I thought it was @Lyn.  :)
    I was getting confused due to the various threads being spammed on etc - nothing new there about confusion!

    There are lots of glitches on the site. People have often mentioned before how hard it can be to change a user name. Logging in and out several times can help. Also refreshing the page or trying a new browser.
