Hi all did not log on before as I wanted to make the most of the beautiful spring day we have had here. Hope the snow does not cause too much chaos.

Busy day today. Cleared the dead tomatoes out of the GH, should have done it ages ago. Sowed lots of seeds. Did it in the kitchen, making a lovely mess, OH mended the GH window, it blew off in a gale. Made Boeuf Bourguignon for Sunday, friends coming to lunch. Made sandwiches for tomorrow, we are going to Bordeaux, 2 hour drive, with friends for another friend's ordination.

    Love the Jackdaw story, Liri.

Glad you liked my post about the rainbow PP.

Still haven't found OH's registration document. He doesn't like leaving it in the car in case it (the car) gets nicked. He keeps a photocopy in the car.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Dacha, that is wonderful. Thank you very much. Pity it hadn’t arrived yesterday. I was feeling a bit low. By the way, I’m still struggling to learn some of the chords, plus the various rhythms. My lot are practising the Bob Marley type rhythms and it’s a bit tricky.
Hope you and yours are ok with the present political situation.

Clear skies here today and 33c predicted, but my focus has been on the progress of cyclone Marcus which is threatening Darwin. We’ve still got strong memories of the devastation caused by Cyclone Tracy when we lost everything, including our house. I’ve never been back.😰 Ive just spoken to a friend who still lives up there. His new house is 30 kms down the track, so he’s got his fingers crossed that his area will be spared, although his trees are thrashing around.
