Hi Pat, we have just come back from visiting eldest son in Queensland where the temperatures were either in the high 30s or it was pouring with rain. Neither a problem but we didn't get as much done in the garden as we would have liked as it was either too hot or too wet.. We did get to the beach between the extremes and spent quality time with granddaughter, 4 next week. OH built new bridge over seasonal creek and it was subsequently tested, the water came just to the top of the planks and it was fine. His water tanks now full to overflowing, and as OH also went on the roof and cleared the gutters, with nice clean water.
Suesyn, I haven’t been looking in today because I assumed that everyone would be asleep. (No surprises with you though Hosta) 😃 Are you still in Oz Suesyn? We’ve been seeing the flooding in North Queensland on TV. Looks impressive. Hosta, sorry the sleep, pattern is haywire again. On the old site, the time was always your time. Now it shows my time.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Pat, my friend is getting a bit fed up with "the wet" but is fine as long as it's hot.
