Very little here in Gloucester at present. My sister in law and her husband are currently on a coach tour in Scotland and initially thought they were going to be snowed in at their hotel near Aberfoyle. She's just called to say that they are heading home after all. Not sure whether she's pleased or disappointed.
We're supposed to be getting heavy snow around her on Thursday and Friday.
-6.5C at 8:30 with added wind chill making it feel like -14C. It's very dry.
Snow and sleet expected in the night which will make the local roads great fun - narrow lanes, deep ditches and no gritting or salting for several kms in any direction. We'll do our weekly shop today then and get plenty of veg to keep us going a few days till the road surfaces warm up.
The forecast is for +11C on Saturday. That's more like it.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
