Cyclamen coum not flowering

I planted some cyclamen coum plants bought from a reputable garden centre in a shaded bed in two batches last autumn/early winter. The first batch have healthy foliage but not one flower, the second batch were flowering when I put them in and continue to do so.

Any ideas why the first batch refuse to flower?

they're not so much shade loving plants as Cyclamen hederifolium. I have some that have self-seeded into shade and are far less floriferous. Why your 2 sets are different I couldn't say

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • Maybe the non flowering batch is hederifolium, they flower in autumn, and the leaves look a lot alike.
