Powered soil sieve

Does anyone in the west Midlands have a powered soil sieve that they no longer want and would be willing to sell?

I'd find one really useful for sorting my 110 square metres of stoney soil before turfing. But can't afford a brand new one. If you have one taking up room you no longer need, let me know :)

Thanks

  • I had no idea there was such a thing as a powered soil sieve existed! I have been using a makeshift version and doing it by hand.......image

  • They are rotary. Spin round allowing the soil out and the stones fall the other way. Im desperate for one to save myself hours!

    What have you been using?

  • That's an a option. I have seen them, just the time to take to make them is a pain. Plus I'd only need to use it for a weekend. Then I can sell the bought one on again. Not sure what id do with a Diy one

Checking t'interweb only comes up with one at Brandon Tool Hire.  I suspect it's larger than you would need and costs nearly £150 to hire.

  • Yes. Very expensive. I think I'm going to go for something like this  https://youtu.be/oXu6QqoMlM8
