white worms in manure

Help please.  I have recently bought some horse manure compost and it is full of small white worms about 1mm in diameter and about 1-2.5 cm long.  Concerned that they may be parasitic. Anyone know what they are?

    If they were parasitic in the horse they'll soon die and they won't be parasitic in you
