I have other phormiums and they grow quite quickly - this has been in the ground for about 5 years and has grown no bigger than this. Also it is entirely green and has no stripe. I wondered whether it could be a form of grass rather than phormium?
I have a similar situation, I have loads of different phormiums, but a couple of tenax purpurea have not grown well at all. Must just be the situation. The ones I have not doing well are in a dry sunny area.
dont be thinking it has no interest as it’s not stripey, I like tenax very much, it does have a lot of colour when it gets bigger/older. Definitely keep it but move it somewhere it likes better.

I prefer tenax to the stripey ones
